It is with pride and gratitude that I present this foreword to the Annual Report. In 2025, EBMT continued to advance haematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapy, improving access, quality, and safety for patients worldwide.
Science
The EBMT continues to advance excellence in scientific research and education. Education
EBMT has established a dedicated Education Department to coordinate and expand its educational activities in alignment with the priorities defined by the Scientific Council. This initiative reinforces EBMT’s commitment to continuous professional development, addressing knowledge gaps, promoting best practices, and strengthening international collaboration in HCT and CT. ... Patient Care
Improving the care of our patients remains a central objective of EBMT. We are committed to empowering, advocating for, and amplifying the voices of patients, survivors, and caregivers worldwide. Throughout the past year, the Nurses Group and the GoCART Coalition have continued to play a vital role in advancing patient-centred care—discover the key activities and achievements that shaped their work in 2025.
Financial Report & Highlights 2025
In 2025, income of EBMT decreased compared to previous years. EBMT’s major sources of income are the Annual Meeting and revenue generated through post-authorisation safety (PAS) studies and pharmaceutical industry-initiated and/or partnered projects. Other sources of income are corporate sponsorships, certification fees, grants and investment income. In particular income through studies was less than previous years and even though income through other activities increased, direct costs related to some of these activities also increased ...
