Full Membership

Full Membership

Provisional membership

Applicants fulfilling all the requirements to be become an EBMT member will be granted Provisional Membership. Provisional Membership is a temporary status with the same benefits as Full Membership with the exception that Provisional Members do not have voting rights and may not stand for election as officers. The EBMT Secretary presents all membership applications for approval at the General Assembly Meeting that takes place at the Annual Meeting. The General Assembly approves final admission. Having been accepted, individuals are granted Full Membership (except non-reporting members).

Full membership

Full Membership requires clinical transplant centres to commit to submit a minimum set of data on all patients treated in their centre on an annual basis. The duty is to report all consecutive haematopoietic stem cell transplants and other cellular therapies and follow-up data.

Sponsors

To apply for membership you must include the signatures of two individuals from centres with Full or Associate Membership acting as sponsors.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership

Any clinical transplant centre not reporting a minimum set of data on all patients on an annual basis will automatically be downgraded to Associate Membership, losing its voting rights and becoming ineligible to apply for accreditation.

These centres can still participate in EBMT studies and are eligible for a free subscription to the Official Journal of the EBMT.

Patient Associations are automatically assigned to Associate Membership.

Individual members of the Associate Centre have the same rights as individuals listed within Full Membership centres.
