Stavroula Chante_LWP Nurse‘The role of the Lead Chemotherapy Nurse and ANP has an invaluable impact on self-development, nursing teams and patient outcomes. I am passionate about improving nursing engagement, satisfaction, and experiences with strong emphasis on embedding learning. Within my role, I ensure that the impact of cancer education is recognized as key to quality patient care. Being a member of the EBMT LWP, has given me the opportunity to disseminate the knowledge I have gained by working alongside prestigious clinicians in Lymphoma, not only to my cancer department and the University I teach, but also to the other European Organisations I currently serve as a member. I have accomplished this by developing educational resources in Greek and English for the nursing professionals that can utilise towards their induction to haematology, lymphoma and bone marrow transplantation as well as their professional development. We currently work on a number of different projects with emphasis given on preparation for the LWP Educational Course that will take place in Paris this October and will be focused on cellular therapies. We would be delighted to welcome you there!’
