The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) has approved HARMONY, a project that aims to foster better access and care for patients with various hematologic malignancies with the use of big data. The project is made up of 53 partners - including the EBMT - from 11 European countries.

EBMT is the co-founder of GoCART, a multi-stakeholder coalition of patient representatives, health care professionals, pharmaceutical companies, regulators, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies and reimbursement agencies, and medical organisations, collaborating to maximise the potential of cellular therapies manufactured from cells and tissues of hematopoietic origin.

The European online cord blood learning portal for use by doctors, nurses, midwives, surgeons, UCB processing and testing laboratories, scientists and study groups. EBMT is one of 15 partners in this initiative supported by the European Commission's Leonardo de Vinci Programme.

The European Network of Paediatric Research at the European Medicines Agency (Enpr-EMA) is a network of research networks, investigators and centres with recognised expertise in performing clinical studies in paediatrics. The EBMT is a participating member of the organisation.
