As EBMT Turkey Nurses Group, which was established in 2015, we try to reach nurses working in the field of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) through seminars, courses, and online training. We aim to provide up-to-date information to nurses who are working in the field, to raise awareness, and to increase the quality of patient care with evidence-based and qualified nursing approaches. We organize our training programs in line with the feedback and requests that we receive from our colleagues. We connect with our colleagues through our website, our Instagram account @ebmtturkiyehemsiregrubu, e-mail ebmtturkiyehemsiregrubu@gmail.com and WhatsApp groups. We have 580 members registered on our website.
In addition to current and ongoing trainings symposiums and, meeting announcements, our website also includes informative articles regarding the HSCT process for patients, relatives and healthcare professionals on topics such as transplant, symptom management and medication management. This year we updated some of the educational materials on our website. On the other hand, our website is actively used by our young colleagues, the most visited pages are patient/patient relatives’ education and information materials.
