Centre Membership

A centre or organisation performing, or actively involved in, transplantation of haematopoietic stem cells or cellular therapy can apply for EBMT membership. A distinction is made between Full and Associate Membership, related to reporting of transplant data to the EBMT Registry database.

Full Membership

Full Membership requires clinical transplant centres to commit to submit a minimum set of data, referred to as MED-A data, on all patients treated in their centre on an annual basis. The duty is to report all consecutive haematopoietic stem cell transplants and other cellular therapies and follow-up data. For more information, please contact the Registry Help Desk (registryhelpdesk@ebmt.org) or visit the Data Collection page in the Registry section.

Members are assigned a CIC number and are entitled to list the names of 3 physicians (this includes the Principal Investigator), 1 principal nurse, 1 data manager, 1 quality manager and 1 lab technician as part of their Membership Fees. Physicians, nurses, data managers and other members can be added to the Centre with prior approval of the Principal Investigator, at an additional cost.

Centre Membership Fees

Centre Membership Fees are €900 per year, and include a team of 3 physicians (including the Principal Investigator), 1 Principal Nurse, 1 data manager, 1 quality manager and 1 lab technician per centre.

With prior approval of the Principal Investigator of the Centre, physicians, nurses, data managers, quality managers and others can be added to the Centre with their corresponding additional costs: the Centre will be charged €40 per year for each additional nurse, and €75 per year for each additional physician, data manager or other individual.

Annual fees are invoiced in March / April each year and the invoice is sent by mail (PDF format) to the Principal Investigator of the Centre for payment. Payment and/or fees collected by the EBMT Treasurer can only be made in Euros by bank transfer (no other currency will be accepted).

The annual fee for Associate Membership is 100% of the full membership fee.
