General Information

EBMT is honoured to announce this year’s 16th Educational Course of the Lymphoma Working Party on “Malignant Lymphomas: State of the Art with Emphasis on Cellular Therapies”.

This year’s course will be held in Münster, Germany, on October 21st and 22nd, 2021. For the last 15 years the course has developed into an important International Forum for young researchers and transplant physicians to closely interact with top experts in diagnostics and treatment of lymphoma focusing on transplantation and other cellular therapies.

Again, travel grants for participants from outreach countries and case report presenters will be available.

IMPORTANT:

The EBMT Lymphoma Working Party is looking forward to holding this educational course face-to-face, and welcome you all to Münster. However, this event might become a virtual meeting due to restrictions related to COVID-19. We will keep you updated of any changes.

You may need to show a negative COVID-19 test or proof of complete vaccination from more than two weeks previous to the event in order to attend the meeting. Participants will be responsible for covering their COVID-19 testing costs.

Registration

The registration will close on the 12th of October 2021, or when the registrations sell out. 

EBMT members can use their CIC code to enjoy the early bird fee until the registration closes. If you are not part of EBMT yet, please consider becoming a member. For more information visit this page.

*Nurses, students, and data managers will need to provide accreditation (ID card or letter from your institution) during the registration process.

The fee includes entry to all sessions, coffee breaks and lunches during the course, and the social dinner.

To register, please click on the “Register” button above. You can pay by credit card, PayPal, or wire transfer. Should you need a VISA letter, you’ll be able to download it after the registration process.

Certificate of Attendance

After the event, you will receive an email with a short survey to evaluate the course. After the survey is completed, you’ll be able to download the certificate of attendance.

 

IMPORTANT:

If the event has to be converted to a virtual meeting, your registration will automatically roll-over, and you’ll receive a partial refund for the difference. You can also request a full refund (minus processing fees).

Unrestricted Grants 

The Lymphoma Working Party offers two types of unrestricted grants for participants which will cover the registration fee, accommodation cost, and a travel allowance.

These grants are:

- 6 Case Report Presenter Grants: to benefit from this grant, please send a copy of your CV, an expression of interest letter together with a Case Report on the course topic (max: 500 words) in English to education.events@ebmt.org before the 17th of September 2021.

Guidelines for the case report presentation submission: 

-    Word or PDF document
-    Word limit: 500 words (excluding the title and authors)
-    The case can be structured like an abstract or descriptive 
-    It is mandatory to title the case report and to list all the authors

- Outreach Grants: to be eligible for the outreach grant, please send a copy of your CV and an expression of interest letter in English to education.events@ebmt.org before the 17th of September 2021.

 

IMPORTANT:

Please do not register before getting the confirmation that your case has been selected. Confirmations will be available from on the 4th of October 2021. Case presenters selected will have free registration to the course. If your case is not selected, we will offer you the Early Bird fee with a code discount.

Please note that by submitting a case report or requesting an outreach grant, you are committing to attend the Lymphoma Working Party Educational Course in person.

Accommodation
 
Participants will be responsible for covering their travel and accommodation costs, as well as any costs related to COVID-19 testing.

 

IMPORTANT: 

EBMT cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Please make sure that you have a valid passport/ID to travel to Germany. Should you need a VISA letter, you’ll be able to download it after the registration process.

EBAH-CME Accreditation

We are pleased to announce that this educational course will be accredited by the EBAH-CME credits system.

In order to collect your EBAH-CME credits, we recommend you to create a EBAH-CME account by clicking here. By registering to the EBAH-CME website, you'll have access to the record of other events you have already been accredited for. After the meeting, an updated attendance list will be uploaded to the EBAH-CME website.

If you already have an account, you will receive an email to evaluate the course and claim your points. If after 15 days you have not received an email regarding your credits, please contact the EBMT Educational Unit at education.events@ebmt.org.

Lymphoma Working Party Scientific Business Meeting

The Lymphoma Working Party Scientific Business Meeting will take place on the morning of Thursday, the 21st of October 2021, in the same venue as the educational course (Factory Hotel in Münster).

The Business Meeting is open to all physicians and researchers being members of EBMT who want to learn about the research activities of the Lymphoma Working Party. Formal presentations on new projects are welcome after registration with the LWP chair. New proposals preferentially by younger colleagues will be discussed.
