Why submit a Quality Management Abstract
Successful abstracts will benefit from a range of advantages such as:
- Recognition for your active contribution to the EBMT community
- Opportunity to win free registration to attend the Annual Meeting in Rotterdam (and you can apply for an EBMT travel grant here)
- Publication of your Abstract in the Bone Marrow Transplantation Journal
- Presentation of your work as printed poster during the Annual Meeting
In addition, the winning abstract will receive one of EBMT’s prestigious awards, as well as prize of 300 Euros, and will be presented during the Quality Management Day at the forthcoming EBMT Annual meeting 2027.
There is no fee to submit a quality management abstract.
What to submit as a Quality Management Abstract
The quality management abstract should be focused solely on areas pertaining to quality management relating to ’development, review and improvements of methods and standards for each step of the HSCT procedure to foster robust quality and consistency as well as error prevention in clinical practice’
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Issues concerning implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management system, including handling challenging standards
- Quality improvements and learning through audit and outcome analysis
- Assessment methods for competencies
- Validation and change control
- Pathways to certification
- Experiences of HSCT in resource-constrained settings
