The EBMT is very happy to announce the upcoming TCWP educational event, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, on September 29th – October 1st 2022.
The aim of this comprehensive meeting is to present state of the art management and latest scientific development in the field of complications after allogeneic stem cell transplant and after CAR T-cell therapy. Please find attached the educational program.
The format of the meeting provides clinicians, scientists, nurses, young investigators and health care providers to share and compare their experience and knowledge.
This event offers excellent opportunities to make new contacts with key players in the field as we expect to have around 80 professionals from both public and private centers across the world. Apart from networking with expert physicians and other health care providers, you will be able to demonstrate your company's leadership and find out about market trends, latest research findings and industry directions.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Berlin!

Dear friends and colleagues,
This year Transplant Complications Working Party of the EBMT decided to make a very practical off-line educational meeting 30 Sep – 1 Oct 2022 in Berlin called “How to survive stem cell transplantation and CAR T-cell therapy guide for physicians and nurses”. The meeting will be focusing on practical skills and case-based discussions, thus we encourage submitting the cases for 5-7 minute presentation on one of the following topics:
- Patient journey through allogeneic transplant complications (focus on stratification of complications’ risks)
- Patient journey through GVHD (focus on acute and chronic GVHD treatment)
- Patient journey through early complications after alloSCT (focus on VOD and TMA)
- Patient journey through late effects and practical guide to implementing patient reported outcomes (focus on late effects monitoring and treatment)
- Practical guide to manage CAR-T complications (focus on CAR-T complications)
Please submit a short abstract in PDF format (max. 500 words) describing the case you want to present. Best cases will be selected for oral presentation and awarded a travel grant for the presenters. We primarily welcome original and unusual cases, which do not fall into standard international guidelines and could become a subject for live discussion.
Submission deadline has been extended to 31 August 2022. Please submit your abstract by email to the EBMT Education and Events Team at education.events@ebmt.org. EBMT will communicate with the Author of the abstract in end August - beginning of September to inform the if the case is accepted or not by the organizing committee.
