JACIE will be running an Inspector Training Course in collaboration with the Belgian Hematology Society in Brussels, Belgium, on 19th November 2026, with up to 25 candidates selected to take part. As places are limited, participants will be selected based on current inspection demand, with particular consideration given to scope and language needs.
The complete inspector training process includes an e-learning course to be completed in the month’s lead up to the face-to-face workshop, and an onsite observation visit following the course. There are no course fees but participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
The aim of the workshop is to ensure that the inspectors have a good understanding of their role and feel confident about the different processes and tools used. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and share knowledge with experienced inspectors and the JACIE office staff.
This course will be conducted in English.

Course Programme
This one-day workshop will focus on the more practical aspects of the inspection: how to prepare for the inspection, find evidence via some interview techniques; as well as the post-inspection tasks of completing the inspection checklist and the report.
