IEWP Annual Conference

General Information

This year’s the Annual Meeting of Inborn Errors Working Party (IEWP) will be organized in Leiden, the Netherlands (September 28-30, 2018). 

The first day of the meeting will be educational and dedicated to 50 years of stem cell transplantation in primary immune deficiencies. We have prepared an exciting program with a series of expert speakers from the PID-SCT field. 

On Saturday and Sunday the program of the regular IEWP meeting will consist of dedicated sessions in various topics related to stem cell transplantation and gene therapy in inherited metabolic diseases, hemoglobinopathies, and immune disorders.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Leiden!

Registration

As in previous years our meeting will be free of charge. Registration includes, meeting materials, lunches, coffee breaks and social dinners.

About Leiden

The Dutch city of Leiden is a vibrant mid-sized town with a beautiful old city center. How to Get to the Venue

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you will need to take the train to Leiden Centraal. Depending on which train it takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive Leiden Centraal you can either;

By walking, it takes 15 minutes.
By public transportation; you can take the buses number 1-2-3-4 or 187 which takes approximately 5-10 minutes
Or alternatively you can take a taxi.

 

Accommodation

Participants will be responsible for covering their costs of travel and accommodation. While attending the course, coffee breaks, lunches and attendance at the social dinner will be provided and included in the registration price.
