Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the EBMT, we are very pleased to invite you to the annual Educational Meeting of the Autoimmune Diseases Working Party (ADWP), which will be held on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th September 2021. Considering the global COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of our delegates, speakers and sponsors, the event will be fully virtual but streamed live to ensure an interactive atmosphere.

Following the success of previous Educational Meetings, the program will cover all aspects of HSCT in relation to the pathophysiology and therapy of autoimmune diseases, including current and future indications, immunological mechanisms and novel targets.

The educational meeting will bring together most of the world’s leading experts, actively contributing to the evidence base and professional guidelines in the field, who will present their most recent work and describe the expected developments in the near future.

The latter part of the first day will include the Scientific Business Meeting, which is open to all participants who wish to be informed or play an active role in the ADWP. There will also be contributions from the EBMT Nurses Group, and all professionals working in HSCT are welcome.

In keeping with the scientific and educational scope of the meeting, the meeting will give delegates the chance to lively interact with experts during the sessions by an active chat in the Q&A slot. Moreover, we expect that the virtual format will encourage junior delegates to actively participate.

We are looking forward to welcome you on the ADWP Virtual Educational Meeting, join us by registering on our website!
