On behalf of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT), we are pleased to invite you to join us for two-days of clinical and research education. Our 15th Educational Meeting of the EBMT Nurses Group will be held on the 28th and 29th of September 2023 in Madrid, Spain.
Together with the nursing committee of the Spanish Bone Marrow and Cellular Therapy Group (GETH), we have put together an exciting program covering a range of current stem cell transplant and cell therapy topics.
Recognising that clinical nursing practice, education and research are not separate, our programme this year is fully integrated, covering cutting edge topics such as artificial intelligence, microbiota, and e-health care models with time to discuss the evidence and advances in these areas.
We would also like to showcase the great projects and achievements of our international nursing community and will be inviting those professionals awarded abstract prizes in the Nurse sessions at the EBMT Annual Meeting 2023, Paris to come and present their work.
We welcome a multidisciplinary faculty of renowned speakers, from a range of Transplant and cell therapy backgrounds including, patients, nurses, physicians, physiotherapists, from academic as well as clinical settings.
In order to encourage local and international nurses to make the most of the event for their clinical and research practice, we will provide simultaneous translation to Spanish.
We look forward to welcoming you in Madrid for this rich and diverse Educational Meeting of the EBMT Nurses Group.

Registration
The registration will close on the 24th of September 2023, or when the registration is sold out.
EBMT members can use their CIC code to enjoy the early bird fee until the registration closes. If you are not part of EBMT yet, please consider becoming a member. For more information visit this page.
*Nurses, students, and data managers will need to provide accreditation (ID card or letter from your institution) during the registration process.
Fee includes entry to all sessions, coffee breaks and lunches during the course, and the networking dinner.

Registration Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be electronically mailed or postmarked by using the option "Modify registration".
Refund of registration fees will be as follows:
- In case of cancellation, up until one month prior to the beginning of the meeting, your registration fee will be reimbursed in full (less bank charges).
- If the cancellation is notified between 15 and 30 days prior to the beginning of the meeting, 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed (less bank charges).
- Cancellations notified between 1 and 15 day registration fee will not be refunded.
Certificate of Attendance
After the event, you will receive an email with a short survey to evaluate the course. After the survey is completed, you’ll be able to download the certificate of attendance.

Accommodation
Participants will be responsible for covering their travel and accommodation costs. You can also find some hotels nearby.
Important information
EBMT cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Please make sure that you have a valid passport/ID to travel to Poland. Should you need a VISA letter, you’ll be able to download it after the registration process.
EBAH-CME Accreditation
We are pleased to announce that this educational course will be accredited by the EBAH-CME credits system.
In order to collect your EBAH-CME credits, we recommend you create an EBAH-CME account by clicking on the following link. After the meeting, an updated attendance list will be uploaded to the EBAH-CME website.
