For fourteen years, Polish nurses have been meeting annually at autumn meetings to foster cooperation with Polish centres, develop education standards, and advance scientific research. This year, the focus has been on translating The EBMT Nurses Textbook into Polish.
In June, two important events took place: an organisational meeting in Gliwice (18 June) and an educational meeting of the EBMT Paediatric Committee Group in Wrocław (21 June).
The next educational meeting, “Cellular therapy in haematology – the future starts today”, is scheduled for 11 October 2025.
In addition, starting in October, we have planned a monthly series of educational webinars for nurses on nursing care in the Bone Marrow Transplantation and Haematology Unit. The first webinar will take place on 15 October and will focus on vascular port implantation and care for patients with an implanted port.
The year of 2025 gives more knowledge and experiences to our nurses.
