"Becoming the Next Generation Nurse Representative and joining the Scientific Committee is a great honour for me. The members of the Scientific Committee do essential work throughout the year, and their commitment play a key role in advancing high-quality nursing practice and scientific collaboration within EBMT.
My first experience at EBMT started with the Next Generation Group and has opened valuable professional and personal opportunities - from having the chance to share my perspective during the Next Generation session to connecting with inspiring nurses from different countries and backgrounds. Through EBMT, I have also met mentors who actively support me in my studies and professional development, which has been incredibly meaningful for my confidence and growth.
The Next Generation Group offers a welcoming environment that supports young nurses in engaging with science, education, and leadership early in their careers and empowers them to contribute with confidence.
As Next Generation Nurse Representative, my goal is to further strengthen an engaged and supportive Next Generation network and to encourage junior transplant nurses to share their experiences, ideas, and perspectives. I believe that learning from one another and feeling supported within a community are key elements for both professional development and the future of transplant nursing."
