Marjola Gjergji, Registered Nurse, SCT, cellular and gene therapy, Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, Rome, Italy.

"I graduated in Nursing Science at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and have two master’s degrees, one in Critical Care and one in Nursing Research.

I chose to apply to the EBMT Nurses Group Global Education Committee as it represents a natural progression of my professional experience and longstanding commitment to advancing nursing practice in paediatric transplantation and cellular therapy.

With over fourtneen years of clinical experience and six years of active involvement within the EBMT Paediatric Nurses Group, I have developed a strong interest in global education, international collaboration and the harmonisation of standards of care.

My participation in international educational initiatives and HCT development projects has reinforced my belief in equitable access to advanced therapies and the importance of cross-border cooperation.

I am motivated to contribute my clinical expertise, global perspective and multilingual skills to support the mission of the EBMT Nurses Group Global Education Committee and promote excellence in nursing care worldwide."
