"Hello, my name is Liana Abu Rumieleh. I am a Paediatric Haematology-Oncology nurse from Jerusalem. I graduated from Birzeit University in 2013, and have been working in the Bone Marrow Transplant Department at Hadassah Medical Center since 2018.
Empowering nurses, raising awareness, and helping other nurses have been passions of mine ever since I became a nurse myself. With specialised training in oncology, I am equipped to design comprehensive programs for nurse education and training, aiming to elevate nursing competence in alignment with JACIE standards. As a nursing shift manager, I enjoy mentoring and assisting in the induction process of new nurses in my department. We treat both adult and paediatric patients from all around the world in their respective units. Our services include allogeneic and autologous transplantations, as well as CAR-T cell therapy.
I am honoured to work alongside other professionals in the Global Education Committee, aligning our goals to deliver more opportunities to nurses worldwide, particularly in regions with more challenging access to the EBMT."
