The EBMT would like to inform members that Dr Lynn Manson has resigned from her position as Chair of the JACIE Working Party (WP). Dr Manson has made a significant contribution to the work of JACIE and the EBMT as an inspector, Chair of the Accreditation and JACIE Committees and as the first Chair of the JACIE Working Party. She has provided thoughtful leadership and unwavering commitment to improving quality and standards in cellular therapy and transplantation.
Reflecting on her time as Chair, Lynn said:
“It has been an honour to serve as Chair of the JACIE Committee, and latterly as the JACIE WP Chair and to work alongside such a dedicated and inspiring group of professionals. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together to advance quality and patient care. I am confident that the Working Party will continue to build on this progress in the years ahead.”
Following Lynn’s resignation, the EBMT Board has appointed Dr Charles Crawley as the interim JACIE WP Co-ordinator, effective immediately. Dr Crawley will serve in this capacity until March 2026, when a new Chair will be elected by the General Assembly during the Annual Meeting of the EBMT.
Commenting on his appointment, Professor Crawley said:
“I am delighted to take on this interim role and to continue supporting the important work of the JACIE Working Party. I would like to thank Lynn for her leadership and contributions, and I look forward to working with colleagues across EBMT and JACIE to maintain JACIE’s high standards and forward momentum.”
The EBMT Board extends its sincere gratitude to Lynn for her service and leadership, and warmly welcomes Charles to his interim position.
