The JACIE Office is pleased to announce that the JACIE Committee has appointed Eugenia Trigoso Arjona to lead the JACIE Inspectors Committee for the next term and she already took on her new role as of April 2022.
Ms. Trigoso is a specialist paediatric nurse with several years of experience in paediatric hematological transplant units. She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Barcelona and in charge of the paediatric nurses training course at the European University of Valencia. She has also been an active participant of the Paediatric Disease Working Party Meetings and international training courses for nurses and young doctors in Jerusalem, Rhodes, Bucharest and Marrakech.
Ms. Trigoso has extensive experience as a quality management inspector and has been an active member of the Inspectors Committee during the first 18 months of the Inspectors Committee. She has also been working with the EBMT in a number of roles including local nurse for the Annual Meeting in Valencia in 2016 to chairing the Nurses Global Education Committee.
