EBMT distributed a survey to all of its members and a special prize is offered to six winners. The prize draw runs from 21 October 2025 to 18 November 2025. Please read the participation terms and conditions below.
1. Organizer
The prize draw is organized by Stichting European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, established under the laws of The Netherlands, and having its corporate address at Rijnsburgerweg 10, 2333 AA Leiden, The Netherlands (VAT number: NL814370822B01 and Chamber of Commerce: 14083431).
This prize draw is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
2. Eligibility
The prize draw is open worldwide to all members who hold an active EBMT Membership (individual, centre or honorary) who complete the EBMT Community Survey 2025 within the specified period. EBMT staff are excluded from participation. Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Only one entry per person is allowed.
3. Contest Period
The prize draw runs from 21 October 2025 to 18 November 2025 (23:59 CET). Entries submitted after this date will not be considered.
4. How to Participate
To enter, participants must:
- Complete all relevant questions from the EBMT Community Survey 2025.
- Submit their responses before the closing date.
- Ensure their contact information (email address) is provided through question 56 of the survey (“If you would like to enter the draw for one of the six prizes, please provide your email address below so we can contact you if you are selected.”)
- Entries with incomplete surveys or invalid emails are not eligible
5. Prizes
Among all valid entries, six (6) winners will be selected to receive one of the following prizes:
- 3 complimentary registrations to the next EBMT Annual Meeting 2026 (Madrid) or any other EBMT educational meeting.
- 3 “Coffee with an Expert” sessions; an exclusive opportunity to connect directly with a leading specialist in our field.
The prizes are transferable only to other individuals within the EBMT community. No cash alternative will be offered. Prizes do not include travel, accommodation, or additional expenses.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The draw will be conducted by EBMT’s Membership unit to ensure fairness and transparency. Winners will be selected randomly after the survey closes using The Wheel of Names. The EBMT will contact the winners via email by 25 November 2025
If a winner cannot be reached within 10 days of notification, the EBMT reserves the right to select an alternate winner. The results of the draw (winner’s name) may be announced internally within the EBMT community, unless winner objects.
7. Data Protection
All personal data collected for this prize draw will be processed in accordance with EBMT’s Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data will be used exclusively to manage participation in the draw and to contact selected winners.
Participants have the right to access, rectify, and erase their personal data, as well to withdraw their consent at any time by contacting dataprotection@ebmt.org
8. Responsibility
The EBMT is not responsible for incomplete, lost or misdirected survey submissions due to technical or communication issues. The EBMT reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the prize draw if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. Participation implies full acceptance of these terms.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the EBMT Community Survey 2025, entrants agree to these prize draw rules and to the decisions of the EBMT, which are final and binding in all matters related to this draw.
