EBMT Exam for Physicians

This online preparatory course, is your best resource to help you prepare for the EBMT Exam. 

The 2026 edition course includes the following content_

• The EBMT Handbook, a globally recognised reference in HCT and CT.
• Insights from the EBMT Annual Meeting 2025 and other EBMT educational events throughout the year, particularly the 10th International Transplant and Cellular Therapy Course.
• A curated selection of key articles from leading haematology journals, focusing on recent developments and evidence-based practices.

Date: 22 March 2026. Time: 15.30-18:00h

Location: IFEMA. Meeting Room Retiro

Arrival time: Please arrive at the meeting room desk no later than 14:30 CET for attendance verification and final checks.

Room access: The meeting room doors will close at 15:30 CET. Late entry will not be permitted.

Badge collection: Sunday is expected to be very busy at the badge collection machines, which are located some distance from the exam room. Registration opens at 07:00 CET. 

Please allow sufficient time to collect your badge and reach the meeting room before the exam begins.
 

The exam is in person and there is no option to take it online.

•    Time limit: 150 minutes (15:30–18:00 CET)
•    Format: 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question has four options with one correct answer.
•    Attempts: Only one attempt is allowed.
•    Passing score: A minimum of 75% is required to pass.

The exam will be administered electronically on iPads via our e-learning platform

Successful candidates will receive EBMT certification.

Certificates will be issued on 31 March 2026.

The exam is accredited with 2.5 EBAH credits.
