IFEMA Madrid, Avenida del Partenón 5, Madrid, Spain.

The exam is held in-person at IFEMA Madrid.

What is the exam format and passing score?

100 multiple-choice questions; minimum passing score is 75%.

Is there a capacity limit?

Yes. Registration is limited to 80 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Is the Nurses preparatory course mandatory?

Yes. Passing the Online EBMT Exam Preparatory Course for Nurses test is mandatory to be accepted into the exam.

What content is included in the preparatory course?

It includes the EBMT Nurses Textbook, annual meeting materials (49th–51st) and other resources such as articles, videos and presentations.

What is the cancellation policy?

30 days in advance: no cancellation fee; 15 days before: 50% fee; after 15 days: no refund.

Is there a reduced fee for LIC/LMIC countries?

Yes, reduced fees may apply for LIC/LMIC residents as defined by the World Bank (eligibility check is provided).

This online preparatory course for Nurses is available on the e-learning platform and open to all public.

Please note that it is mandatory to pass the Online EBMT Exam Preparatory Course for Nurses test in order to be accepted into the exam.

The course includes the following content:.

EBMT Nurses Textbook.
Materials from the 49th, 50th and 51st Annual Meetings of the EBMT and other events from 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Scientific articles, videos, conference presentations and extended catalogue of recommended resources.

Date: 22 March 2026. Time: 10-12.30h
Location: IFEMA Madrid, Avenida del Partenón, 5, Madrid, Spain
Meeting Room Retiro (see map).
Arrival Time: Please arrive at the meeting room desk no later than 9:15 AM CET for attendance verification and final checks.
Meeting room doors will close at 10.00 AM CET. Late entry will not be permitted.
Badge Collection: Sunday morning is expected to be very busy at the badge collection machines, which are located a significant distance from the exam room.
Registration opens at 7:00 AM. Please note that queues may form, so we recommend arriving no later than 8:30 AM to collect your badge and reach the meeting room on time.

Time Limit: 150 minutes (from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM CET).
Format: 100 multiple-choice questions, each one with four options with only one correct answer.
Attempts: Only one attempt is allowed.
Passing Score: A minimum of 75% is required to pass.
Exam Delivery: The exam will be administered electronically on iPads via our e-learning platform

The certificates will be given on the 31 March 2026.

Successful candidates will receive EBMT certification.

The exam is accredited with 2.5 EBAH credits.
