JACIE Assurance Committee Members

The JACIE Assurance Committee (JAC) is a prestigious and key committee within the JACIE Certification Programme that plays a pivotal role in driving the continuous advancement of transplant practices via the establishment and enforcement of Standards and certification.  

The JAC works closely with the JACIE Office to review reports and provide recommendations regarding applications and inspections. The committee helps expand the certification experience across a broad network of experts and stakeholders. 

The JAC is comprised of a Chair plus a group of experts representing the different areas of the JACIE Certification: 

  • Clinical Adult Transplant Programme,
  • Clinical Paediatric Transplant Programme,
  • Haematopoietic Progenitor Cell Collection,
  • Cell Processing Laboratory,
  • Quality Management. 

The Committee is supported by JACIE Accreditation Coordinators based at the EBMT Office in Barcelona. We welcome applications from all inspectors meeting the person specification as outlined on page 7 of the application pack.

EBMT Legal & Regulatory Affairs Committee Chair Position

The application deadline for the 2026 Legal & Regulatory Affairs Committee Chair has been extended to Tuesday 3 February 2026. 

Eligibility:

  • All EBMT members are welcome to apply.

Application Requirements:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Motivation statement (manifesto)
  • List of relevant publications (if applicable)
  • Confirmation of EBMT membership (where required)

Nomination Pathways:

  • Internal Nominations: Outgoing Chair and Committee members may recommend candidates.
  • External Applications: Any eligible EBMT member may apply via this open call.

Process and Timeline: 

 1. Open Call: 13 January 2026
 2. Candidate Review: The EBMT Executive Committee validates applications and presents candidates to the Board of Association for endorsement.
 3. Appointment: Endorsed Chairs will be formally announced and assume their roles after the Annual Meeting in March/April 2026, supported by a structured handover process.
