Strategy

Strategic Goals 2026-2030

To fulfil our mission and meet our committee objectives, the committee has identified the following strategic priorities for the current term:

  • Increase number of publications from the committee per annum with annual audit of practice.
  • Rapid-Response Frameworks for practice guidelines where required: Establish a "Fast-Track" guidance generation pathway within the committee for emerging cellular and gene therapies This goal ensures that the EBMT remains one of the primary authorities for safe and effective practice guidance and harmonisation as soon as new treatments receive approval.
  • "Practice Gap" Initiative: Our goal is to identify barriers to harmonization uptake and receive feedback on improvements and applicability on a global scale.
  • Patient-Advocate and wider multi-disciplinary team integration into guidance generation: Formally integrate patient and donor representatives into the guideline development process where appropriate for the topic.
