Dear Friends,
On behalf of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT), we would like to welcome each of you to the 16th Educational Meeting of the EBMT Nurses Group that will be held on the 26th and 27th of September 2024 in Naples (Italy).
It will be an exciting time for EBMT NG and Italian Bone Marrow Transplant Nursing Group (GITMO) in promoting the best scientific findings and evidence-based practices in the field of Stem cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy together. We are convinced that these two days of work/study/sharing of contents between nurses from all countries will contribute to increasing nursing awareness on patient’s care and safety, as well as to provide a collaborative way for overcoming barriers and divisions between peoples.
We are also very happy to offer you the opportunity to visit Naples, where you will be able to find an attractive combination of tradition, art, and culture in the same city. Located in the South of the country, Naples is the third-largest city in Italy and one of the most important ports of the Mediterranean Sea. It has Greek origins (1st millennium BC) and later established itself as a strategic, cultural and political centre under the Roman domination. Naples served as the capital of the “Kingdom of Naples” and later of the “Kingdom of Two Sicilies” before the unification of Italy (1861).
We are looking forward to meeting you all in this interesting event, which will combine educational and research topics in two days of discussion between colleagues who are experts in the field of stem cell transplant and cellular therapy. Your participation will be truly our greatest asset, and we could not accomplish what we do without your support.
Throughout the conference, we will ask you to stay engaged, keeping us proactive and helping us to shape the future of our patients. Our personal respect and thanks, goes out to all of you.
Kind regards,
The Organizing Committee
