As part of the EBMT's commitment to compliance and GDPR, we have reviewed and improved the EBMT Informed Consent for data reporting to EBMT.
With this update, our aim is to provide more transparent information for our patients and to facilitate the application of this document for reporting centres. For this purpose, EBMT has translated with certified translators the document to several languages and created a section within the EBMT website which contains all the different models available for the EBMT reporting centres.
These documents have been developed to fulfil the GDPR requirements and to support you in their implementation at a National level. They have been produced within the GDPR Working Group, revised and endorsed by the EBMT legal advisors for compliance with GDPR, and finally approved by the EBMT Executive Committee.
National specific regulations may require, in some countries, further additions to these templates, but we hope that they will be useful to you all during the process of implementation. If you have any queries or comments, please do let us know, we will be more than happy to assist.
