Lynn works as a trained oncology nurse in the field of allogeneic stem cell transplantation at the University Hospital Freiburg, Germany, as well as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Nursing Science, Basel. Lynn has eventually earned her PhD in nursing science in 2021 from the University of Basel. Her focus of research is the re-engineering of care towards an integrated, eHealth-facilitated follow-up care after allogeneic stem cell transplantation by combining implementation-, behavioural and computer science methods. Driven by a strong belief that innovations in care delivery are only possible through a synergistic interplay of clinics, research, and education she always tried and will continue to combine clinics with research.
The opportunity to become an EBMT Nurses Group Research Committee member allows her to further collaborate at a European level, to share interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise with other professional nurses and researchers within the EBMT community as well as to be part of European research projects in the field of stem cell transplantation.
