My name is Sara Marcos and I am a registered nurse from Spain. I graduated in nursing in 2016 and have worked in haematology and oncology throughout my professional career. In 2021, I obtained my PhD in nursing from the University of Salamanca and since 2024 I have been working as a Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Coordinator at Salamanca University Hospital. I am passionate about research, continuous learning and education and I strongly believe in the importance of evidence-based nursing to improve patient care and outcomes.
I joined the EBMT Nurses Group Research Committee because I am committed to advancing nursing research in haematology and transplantation. I value the opportunity to collaborate with international colleagues, contribute to research initiatives and promote evidence-based practice that ultimately benefits patients undergoing stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. I look forward to learning, sharing experiences and supporting the growth of nursing research within the EBMT community.
