There is an exciting opportunity to apply for the EBMT Nurses Group annual scholarships. These scholarships open on 30 August and close on 30 September. Please note the following before applying:
- Only applications received during this period will be shortlisted
- You can apply for one scholarship or grant only each year
- Any applicants who submit for more than one grant will be rejected
- If you have previously applied for; or been awarded a grant you must state this in your application. Failure to do so, may result in the grant offer being withdrawn.
- CV and motivation letter must be in English.
Next Generation Annual Meeting Grant (5 available): 1000 Euros
The EBMT Nurses Group continues this award recognising early career nurses new to the field of transplantation. Each recipient will be awarded 1000 Euros towards the Annual Meeting of the EBMT 2026 registration, travel and accommodation.
Successful applicants are required to provide an article on their experiences at the Annual Meeting for the EBMT Post Congress Bulletin and their social media.
Application criteria:
- Working at EBMT member centre in the field of HCT and cell therapy 2-5 years
- Working in a clinical role
- Active on social media (e.g. X, LinkedIn) with experience of using this medium for professional communication
- Under 35 years of age
- Able to attend Annual Meeting of the EBMT 2026, Madrid, in person.

- a statement of support describing
a). what being a young transplant nurse means to you
b). how you will benefit from this grant (250 words)
- a copy of ID (passport, driving licence)

The Paediatric Grant: Annual Paediatric Disease Working Party Meeting OR Annual Meeting 2026 (1 available): 1000 Euros
This grant provides funding up to 1000 Euros for travel, accommodation and registration for this highly valued course for Paediatric Nurses working in the field of HCT.
The successful applicant will be a nurse working in the paediatric setting and attend the next planned Paediatric Diseases Working Party meeting after the grant application period closes OR attend the EBMT Annual Meeting in 2026. Please indicate your preference in the application.
Successful applicants are required to provide an article on their experiences for the EBMT Newsletter or Post Congress Bulletin.

- Working in a clinical role/clinical related role
