Eliane Gluckman — Pioneering 50 Years of Progress in Leukaemia and EBMT

Meet Our Past Presidents
In 1974, a small group of visionary clinicians and scientists, Jon van Rood, Bruno Speck, Dick van Bekkum, and Eliane Gluckman and others, started a joint discussion on bone marrow transplantation and set the start of the EBMT.
Now, five decades later, we celebrate EBMT's 50th anniversary, honoring half a century of transformative advancements in haematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and cellular therapy. Meet all the past presidents of our society below.
