EBMT Member Fee
Are you an EBMT Member? Thank you for being part of our scientific community! Both EBMT Centre Members and Individual Members can register to our Annual Meeting with the best prices available. Complete your registration here with the same email address that is associated with your EBMT Membership.
Not yet a Member? Apply for EBMT Membership online today and benefit from the special member prices for all EBMT's Annual and Educational Meetings. If you are a Physician, Nurse, Trainee, any other healthcare professional or allied health professional, becoming an EBMT Individual Member is a great option for you to enhance your professional development. Did you know? Last year we reduced our Individual Membership fees to be €90 for Physicians and €40 for all other roles. Also, EBMT has Membership options for Centres and their teams for free. To benefit from the lower registration fee than Physicians and Industry Representatives, proof of your professional standing will be requested and is required during the registration process for all discounted categories: Nurses, Trainees, Scientists, Quality Managers, Pharmacists, Transplant Coordinators, Study Coordinators, Statisticians, Psychologists, Nutritionists/Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Data Managers, Patients, Donors and Patient Advocates.

**LMIC Resident Fee
To make education accessible for all, we offer a special discounted registration for residents of Low Income Countries (LIC) and Low-to-Middle Income Countries (LMIC). If you reside in an LIC or LMIC as defined by The World Bank Group, you may qualify for this reduced registration fee.
Check your eligibility here and if you are eligible, complete your registration here. During the registration process, select first whether you will attend in-person or virtually, and then in the next screen you can choose the option of Low-to-Middle Income Country Residents from the list.
Low-to-Middle Income Country (LMIC) residence status will be requested and is required during the registration process. Countries that are defined as low-income economies (US$1,135 or less GNI per capita) or as lower-middle-income economies (US$1,136 to US$4,495 GNI per capita), as defined by The World Bank Group, are eligible to apply for the LMIC discount.

***Quality Management Day Pass (In-person and Virtual)
The Quality Management Day Pass provides access to all the Quality Management programme activities on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, as well as the virtual Quality Management content. Please note that the Quality Management Meet the Expert sessions are only available to those attending in-person.

****In-person Day Pass (Sunday to Wednesday)
The In-person Day Pass (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) provides both in-person and virtual access to that day’s sessions. This registration category is for individuals only, and one person can only purchase one Day Pass.

Registration discounts and deadlines
There are multiple ways to attend the 52nd Annual Meeting of the EBMT:
- In-person (Full registration for the in-person meeting in Madrid includes access to all in-person meeting sessions and all virtual content, as well as access to most live-streamed content available on-demand for one month after the meeting.)
- Virtually (Full registration for the virtual meeting online includes access to all live-streamed meeting sessions being broadcast live from Madrid, as well as access to most live-streamed content available on-demand for one month after the meeting.)
- Quality Management Day Pass (see section above)
- In-person Day Pass (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)
- Patient, Family and Donor Day (see section below)
Within these different attendance options there are different registration prices for EBMT Members and Non-Members:
- EBMT Member Fee (available until registration closes on 25 March 2025 at 23:59 CET)
Non-Members will pay a different fee depending on when you decide to register for the meeting. We advise you to register as soon as possible in order to avoid higher fees:
- Early Bird Fee (only available until 19 January 2026 at 23:59 CET)
- General Fee (will expire after 23 February 2026 at 23:59 CET)
- Last Chance Fee (active from 24 February 2026 - 25 March 2025 at 23:59 CET)
If you plan on attending in-person in Madrid, you can also purchase these extra activities at the time of registering:
- Meet an Expert - only 20 spots per session are available and are first-come first-served
- Basic Course in Statistics - only 60 spots available in total and are first-come first-served
- Networking Event ticket - only 1-2 tickets can be purchased per person and limited tickets available
In order to get the best registration price, we recommend you apply to become an EBMT Member and then once your membership is confirmed, sign up to attend EBMT 2026.
You can also decide to present your research and be eligible to win an abstract award or a travel grant.
In addition, you can participate in our Contest Session in which the top five finalists will receive full free registration to our Annual Meeting.
Patient, Family and Donor Day
Access to the Patient, Family and Donor Day is already included within the Full In-person Registration and Sunday In-person Day Pass options. However, if you are interested in attending only the Patient, Family and Donor Day either in-person in Madrid or virtually on Sunday, 22 March 2026 - you can register separately for free here.

Virtual Platform
A few days before the Annual Meeting begins, you will receive an email (to the email address you registered with) containing the link to access the virtual Annual Meeting platform, your login information, and information about the EBMT 2026 Mobile App.
The virtual Annual Meeting platform will officially open on Sunday, 22 March 2026 in the morning and will remain open for one month afterwards to enjoy the congress content on-demand.
Please note that if you complete your registration between 22-25 March 2026, your virtual platform credentials might take 12-24 hours to become active, and you will not have access to the virtual platform until they are active.
Press Registration (In-person & Virtual)
Media outlets and press representatives can register online, as a regular attendee. For more information, please go to the Media Guidelines page.
Group Registrations
In case of a group registration, you must specify an individual email address of each registrant.
Payment Options
Please note that all pices shown are in euros and include VAT.
Payment of registration and accomodation can be made by credit card or by bank transfer at the time of completing the online registration form.
In the case of payment by bank transfer, proof of payment must be sent to the registration@ebmt.org. All transaction fees should be paid by the sender.
All registration fees will be invoiced in Euros and should be paid in Euros.
Invitation Letter
You can complete this form to generate an invitation letter for the purposes of applying for a VISA or other purposes related to attending the 52nd Annual Meeting of the EBMT.
IMPORTANT: Please note that if any embassy contacts the EBMT to validate the invitation letter, the EBMT will only give positive feedback if the person applying for the VISA is registered for the 52nd Annual Meeting of the EBMT and the registration fees are fully paid.
Badge Scanning
All in-person attendees will receive a badge with a QR code that must be worn at all times while on the premises. Your badge may be scanned while entering certain lecture halls.
For certain industry symposia, an in-person attendee may be asked to have their badge scanned by the staff of the company organizing the symposium. If, during the registration, the attendee did not provide consent to share their contact information with third parties, only their Institution/Company, Role, and Country will be shared. If the attendee consented to share their contact information with third parties, their Full Name will also be shared. This is also applicable to all virtual attendees of industry symposia.
At the exhibition area, if an in-person attendee allows an industry exhibitor to scan their badge, they are consenting to have their personal contact information shared with the third party scanning the badge. The information shared will include: Full Name, Email, Institution/Company, Role, and Country.
Cancellation Policy (for individual booking only)
All cancellations must be electronically mailed to registration@ebmt.org. Refund of registration fees will be as follows:
Postmarked until 19 January 2026 - 100% refund (minus €50 handling and transaction fees).
Postmarked from 20 January 2026 - 50% refund (minus €50 handling and transaction fees).
No refund on cancellations sent after 24 February 2026.
This cancellation policy also applies to changes from the In-Person to the Virtual registration.
Refunds of cancellations will be processed in April/May 2026 following the completion of the Annual Meeting of the EBMT.

Liability & Insurance
The Meeting Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, and/or loss of and/or damage to private property of participants, either during or directly arising from the 52nd Annual Meeting of the EBMT. Participants shall have no claim against the Organisers in respect of any loss or damage consequential upon the prevention or postponement of the Event, or of the virtual Event hall network becoming wholly or partially unavailable for the holding of the Event by reason of happenings of any event beyond the Organisers’ control.
