In 2024, the EBMT introduced EBMT Travel Grants, a subvention programme designed to foster the engagement and participation of European and international healthcare professionals in EBMT events. These grants intend to alleviate the financial burden of in-person attendance to events, covering registration fees, and providing coverage for travel and accommodation expenses.
Delivering on our commitment to making education accessible, the EBMT Travel Grants programme aims to ensure participants from diverse backgrounds can have the opportunity to contribute to the exchange of knowledge and ideas within the EBMT community.
For the 51st Annual Meeting of the EBMT, EBMT is offering 15 grants for physican participants:
- 10 grants of 1.500 EUR for European physician participants
- 5 grants of 2.500 EUR for non-European physician participants
And 7 grants for other healthcare professional participants (Nurses, Quality Managers, Data Managers, Statisticians, Psychologists, Pharmacists):
- 5 grants of 1.500 EUR for European non-physician participants
- 2 grants of 2.500 EUR for non-European non-physician participants
These amounts are the maximum reimbursement a grant recipient is entitled to received for their travel and accommodation costs. Additionally, grant recipients will receive a free registration to the congress.
