The 50th Annual Meeting of the EBMT will take place in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The times in the programme are in British Summer Time (BST).
For participants connecting live from other time zones, the sessions being live-streamed through the congress virtual platform will follow British Summer Time (BST).
🛫 Travel & How to get to the venue
The Scottish Event Campus is located just outside Glasgow city centre in the west-end. The campus is accessible by numerous transport options.
Glasgow Airport
- Located 8 miles (13km) west of the city.
- Taxi: 15-25 min taxi transfer
- Public Transportation: please take the 500 Airport Express bus direction Glasgow to Waterloo Lane bus stop. Then walk 5 min to the Glasgow Central train station where you will take the Scotrail train direction Dalmuir to Exhibition Centre and walk 5 minutes to the SEC Glasgow.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport
- Located 32 miles (51km) southwest of the city.
- Taxi: 50-70 min taxi transfer
- Public Transportation: please take the Scotrail train direction Glasgow Central to Glasgow Central Station where you will take the Scotrail train direction Dalmuir to Exhibition Centre and walk 5 minutes to the SEC Glasgow.
Edinburgh Airport
- Located 39 miles (63km) from Glasgow
- Taxi: 70-90 min taxi transfer
- Public Transportation:
* Please take Megabus Air direction Glasgow to Buchanan Bus Station. Then walk 7 min to West Nile Street bus stop where you will take the Bus X19 direction Finnieston Street bus stop and walk 6 minutes to the SEC Glasgow.

🏨 Useful Information
Reservation and payment
Reservations will only be confirmed if credit card details are fully supplied or alternatively a bank transfer of the total amount is received. Payment by bank transfer – all transaction fees should be paid by the sender. Potential additional incidentals, such as mini-bar and telephone, must be paid directly to the hotel upon check-out.
Early departure fee
Guests will be charged in full for checking out prior to the departure date confirmed at check-in.
Liability
CME-Congresses and their agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his/her luggage or any other property for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services provided. Personal travel and health insurance is recommended.
Group reservations
Should you wish to proceed with a group reservation (more than 10 rooms) we kindly invite you to contact us with your accommodation request at accommodation@ebmt.org.
Cancellation policy (for individual bookings only)
Cancellations or changes must be received in writing to CME-Congresses.
- Cancellations received 4 months prior to arrival - full refund minus 50€ handling and transaction fees.
- Cancellations received 2 months prior to arrival - 50% refundable minus transaction fees.
- Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to arrival - non-refundable.
In the event of a no-show, the hotel will automatically release the reservation, and payment will be non-refundable.
Refunds will be processed in May 2024 following the completion of the Annual Meeting of the EBMT.
