Media Guidelines

The EBMT welcomes media interest in the scientific and clinical issues that will be addressed at the 46th Annual Meeting of the EBMT.

Registration requirements

Media representatives can register in advance online selecting the “press badge” option. Once the registration is completed, they are contacted and requested to provide a scan of their identification/press card to confirm registration as press. They are also asked to present the press card onsite. Media representatives can also register onsite at the congress venue with the supporting documents.

Registration for press is free and accredited media representatives are entitled to:

Set up one-on-one interviews with EBMT officials and research authors; Open admission to all EBMT sessions throughout the Annual Meeting; Access documentation and resources accompanying the Annual Meeting.

Videotaping, photography and audio recording

Videotaping, photography and audio recording at the EBMT Annual Meeting is restricted to the following sessions: the EBMT media activities as well as public areas of the congress center. Video recording of the education or scientific sessions is strictly prohibited. Photographing of copyrighted material reprinted without the prior consent of the study author/presenter is strictly prohibited.

Embargo policy

No news/press releases on abstracts are permitted until the start of the opening session. The embargo on all posters and abstracts lifts at the opening of the Annual Meeting on Sunday, March 22, at 6:30 pm local time.

The embargo for oral presentation lifts at the start of the session.
