Changes to the JACIE Accreditation Process

The JACIE Accreditation Committee (JAC), 18 Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), meet twice a month to review completed reports to review and assess deficiencies as well as to determine the time granted for centres to correct

Inspectors are the backbone of JACIE; without them, there is no accreditation process. Becoming an inspector is a wonderful way to contribute to maintaining global quality standards.

Submitting Applications for Accreditation

JACIE is currently in the process of developing an accreditation platform that we are hoping roll out during 2023. In the meantime, we continue to accept application via email as previously.

Lynn Manson, new JACIE Committee Chair

Dr Kim Orchard (Southampton, UK) stepped down as the Chair of the JACIE Committee in August 2022; Committee which he had chaired since mid-2020.

Interim Audits to return in 2023

Interim Audits that take place at the mid-point of the accreditation period, which for most centres will be at the end of the 2^nd year of the Accreditation were stopped due to the pandemic.

JACIE Inspector Training Course - 17 November 2022 - Castelldefels

The first JACIE inspector course since the pandemic completed the face-to-face workshop on the 17^th November 2022. This was a follow up to the new e-learning content that the trainees completed prior to the training event.
