the EBMT 2010 meeting which will take place at the end of March 2010 (date to be announced shortly).
Werner Linkesch from Medical University Graz will serve as Congress President,
supported by Hildegard Greinix from Medizinische Universitaet Wienas as Scientific
Chair.
Jakob Passweg, André Tichelli and the local team in Geneva are thanked for the time and effort that they put into preparing their bid and are encouraged to bid again for future meetings.

Bids
for EBMT 2011 and EBMT 2012 meetings
With the growth in
size of the EBMT annual meeting, fewer venues have the capacity to host the meeting.
As there is high demand for these venues it is increasingly necessary to book
venues further in advance. On AKM’s advice the Board has therefore decided to conduct
the venue selection for EBMT 2010 and EBMT 2011 together in 2008. Members are now invited
to submit a bid to host these meetings. If you are interested in hosting the
meeting please inform Fiona Mc
Donald who is available to answer any questions you may have:
To facilitate your understanding of the process please study the
EBMT Venue Bid Manual.
The EBMT Venue Bid Manual aims to provide a comprehensive
overview of the selection procedure, eligibility & evaluation criteria, the
meeting requirements and specification of the contents of the bid document, to
ensure a fair and transparent process for selecting venues.
In addition, an updated version of the EBMT Annual Meeting Rules and Regulations will be available on the Operational Manual to be found on the EBMT website.
Anyone interested in submitting a bid is welcome to proceed with an 'Expression
of Interest to Bid' by the deadline of 1st May2008.
