IMAGEEBMT Membership Directory 2008

Many of you will already be familiar with the EBMT Membership List which is distributed to all delegates at the EBMT Congress and to all new EBMT Members.

The EBMT Secretariat is already busy with preparations for the 2008 issue of the Membership List.

It is important that we make your centre’s entry as accurate as possible as the booklet serves as an essential reference tool for professionals worldwide in the field of Blood and Marrow Transplantation.

We would like to ask you for your co-operation in this endeavour by following this simple procedure:

• Check you centre’s EBMT records on the online directory at:

http://www.ebmt.org/ebmt/members/cic2.asp
• Click on your CIC number

• Check the details are accurate (team members, emails addresses, postal addresses,

EBMT Accreditation – New Guidelines

The aim of EBMT accreditation is to provide an indication of the quality of a Clinical HSCT Programme based on experience in terms of the number of new patients transplanted each year. Length of experience of the programme is also a factor taken into consideration.

Since June this year we have seen over 178 member centres renewing their EBMT Accreditation and this has again highlighted to us the importance of EBMT Accreditation for our members. In order to facilitate applications the EBMT Accreditation Committee has provided some guidelines to clearly explain the process and how transplants are counted for these purposes.

The full set of instructive guidelines can now be downloaded from the EBMT Website by clicking here.
