EBMT 2007Post EBMT 2007 Meetings

 

The Post-EBMT meetings were part of an active and constructive collaboration between the EBMT 2007 organisers and the SFGM-TC (French Society of the Bone Marrow and Cellular Therapy). The objective of these meetings was to focus on the highlights of the EBMT 2007.  A set of slides was prepared by "junior" transplant doctors which was then verified and corrected en vivo by a scientific committee made up of "senior" transplant doctors.

The meetings not only brought together senior and junior doctors promoting an exchange of information and fostering open discussion, but also provided an opportunity to present news from the EBMT to those doctors, nurses and data mangers who were unable to attend the congress.  In total six meetings were set-up at strategic locations across France: Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Nantes, Nancy and Toulouse. 

The organising committee hailed the post EBMT meetings a huge success and would like to encourage all future organisers to continue with this initiative.
