Elections 2007
Elections took place at EBMT 2007 for the position of the Solid Tumours Working Party Chair. 136 centres showed their support by voting at the EBMT Secretariat stand during the congress. The votes for the final results, announced at the General Assembly on Wednesday 28th March 2007, were as follows:

We would like to express our appreciation to Taner Demirer, the outgoing Chairperson of the Solid Tumours Working Party.
At the Welcoming Ceremony
Dr. Demirer was invited on stage and presented with a commemorative plaque to acknowledge his invaluable contribution to the Solid Tumours Working Party from 2001 - 2006. The EBMT wishes Dr. Demier all the best for the future and looks forward to his continued involvement in the society's work.

The election proceedings at EBMT 2007 also included a number of important re-elections of existing Board Members. We are pleased to report that all six existing post holders were re-elected to serve a second-term in their respective positions and we wish them all the best for the next three years.
