The EBMT Spanish Nurses Group began at the Barcelona EBMT Annual Meeting in 2004.

The primary aim of the group is to promote professional development and to improve the care of patients undergoing haematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation (HSCT). For further information on the Constitution, Mission or Vision of the group please download the pdf below.

In order to achieve its objectives, the group organises an annual nursing study day. It is also involved in offering learning sessions as continuous education for the purposes of meeting JACIE requirements. The group supports the different working groups it has created and encourages the establishment of new groups as well. The 6 operational working groups are:

• Home and Ambulatory Care
• JACIE
• Continuing Education
• Complementary Therapies
• SCT Macmillan Nurse
• Paediatric

El grupo de enfermería de trasplante de progenitores hematopoyéticos (GEETPH) se formó en el congreso del EBMT en Barcelona 2004.

El objetivo principal del grupo es promover el desarrollo profesional y mejorar en la calidad de los cuidados de los pacientes que reciben un trasplante de progenitores hematopoyético. Para más información sobre los Estatutos, Misión o Visión del grupo por favor consulte el pdf adjunto.

Para alcanzar los objetivos el grupo organiza cada año una Jornada de formación y está también involucrado en proporcionar sesiones educativas que permitan dar respuesta a los estándares JACIE.

Los esfuerzos del grupo están orientados a dar soporte a la vocalías que ya existen y a animar a los que aun no se han formado. Actualmente hay seis vocalías trabajando:

• TPH domiciliario y ambulatorio
• JACIE
• Formación Continuada
• Terapias complementarias
• Gestión de Información y coordinación de trasplantes
• Pediatría
