Joint Sessions & Plenary Sessions

The joint sessions are a traditional feature of the EBMT annual meeting and this year saw collaborative sessions between the EBMT and the Worldwide Marrow Donor Association (WMDA), the Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (WBMT), ISEH – Society for Hematology and Stem Cells and ISCT -International Society for Cellular Therapy.

A successful joint session between physicians and nurses was also held, addressing the question: To isolate or not to isolate - protective care in the 21st century.

Speakers at this year's Plenary Sessions addressed two important, cutting-edge topics in HSCT: Cord Blood Transplantations and Evolution & Classification of GvHD.
