EBMT Election Results 2008

A number of important elections took place in Florence this year and 205 Full Member Centres exercised their right to vote for their preferred candidates. The results shown below were announced at the General Assembly Meeting.

It is a pleasure for the Board to welcome:

Jan Cornelissen, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, to the post of EBMT Treasurer; Andrea Velardi, Perugia, Italy, to the post of Immunobiology Working Party Chair, Christina Peters, Vienna, Austria, as the new Chairperson of the Paediatric Diseases Working Party and Bobby Gaspar, London, United Kingdom, as Chair of the Inborn Errors Working Party. Dietger Niederwieser was also re-elected to continue his second term of two years as EBMT President. Thanks go to all of the candidates for agreeing to stand for election and their willingness to support the activities of the EBMT.
