Van Bekkum Award

Dirk Van Bekkum presented this year’s award to Roelof Willemze for the collaborative study between EUROCORD-NETCORD and the Acute Leukaemia Working Party of the EBMT entitled:

‘Inhibitory KIR-ligand mismatching is associated with decreased incidence of relapse and improved disease-free survival after unrelated cord blood stem cell transplantation for patients with acute leukaemia.’ (full abstract can be viewed by clicking here)
