All allied professionals working within the field of BMT are welcome to join or attend the group. Meetings are held 3 times a year usually in March, June and December. The meetings take the form of formal lectures and working parties. To cover administration costs a small registration fee is charged. The main costs of the meeting are paid for by sponsorship from companies who have exhibition stands at the meeting. The working parties provide the opportunity for research, audit, education and networking. Each working party has two leaders to co-ordinate the group. The length of time the working party is in operation depends on the remit of each group. At present the following working parties are in operation

  • Central Venous Access
  • Symptom control
  • Day Case Management
  • Transplant Co-ordinators
  • Mouth Care
  • Sexuality
  • Protective Isolation
