Sub-Committee Updates

Introduction

The research sub-committee is a small group of clinical nurse and research specialists working to develop research projects, promote awareness of research activities, and facilitate active participation in research, for EBMT-NG members. With a mandate from the board of the nurses group, the research sub-committee has established itself with a number of projects, presentations, and publications.

The present members of the group are, Eva Johansson (Chair), Patrick Crombez, Corien Eeltink and Simona Calza. The group bring together a range of skill sets and expertise.

Over the last three years the group has been responsible for two major surveys of European practice. Most recently, a GvHD education resource (DVD) was developed by the group which was introduced at the 23rd meeting of the EBMT NG in Lyon, France in the areas of nutrition and recipient donor care.

If you would like to become involved in the research activities of the group, or if you have ideas for future projects, please contact one of the group members. The research sub-committee will recruit individuals for specific projects and is always looking for full-time members.
