Financial Support

Each Working Party is financially supported by the central budget of the EBMT. The Working Party Chair is required to submit to the Board of the EBMT the financial records of the preceding year and the proposed budget for the forthcoming year. Budget discussions take place at the first Board Meeting of the year.

It is the responsibility of the Working Party Chair to keep records of all expenses of the members and activities of the Working Party and to present all receipts to the Treasurer for their approval on an annual basis.

Legitimate expenses for each Working Party include:

  • Salaries of Registry personnel
  • Registry office expenditure
  • Travel and accommodation costs of Registry personnel
  • Meeting costs
  • Chair's office expenditure
  • Secretary's office expenditure
  • Support for study costs

Travel expenses of individual members may be reimbursed if finances permit.
