Protocol ALLO-MDS 2x2

A prospective 2 x 2 randomized multicenter study evaluating the role of remission-induction and consolidation chemotherapy prior to allogeneic transplantation and of G-CSF mobilized peripheral blood progenitor cells versus bone marrow stem cells using HLA-identical siblings in patients less than 50 years of age with myelodysplastic syndromes and 5% to 20% bone marrow blasts.

One consolidation course is performed if a complete remission (CR) is achieved.
