Fellowship Programmes

Marie Curie Actions

EBMT-AMGEN Fellowship Awards

The Seventh Framework Programme for research and technological development (FP7) is the European Union´s chief instrument for funding research over the period 2007 to 2013. The EBMT is currently promoting three new fellowship visiting schemes called 'Marie Curie Actions' which fall under the funding umbrella of the Seventh Framework Programme:

Intra European Fellowships (IEF)
International Incoming Fellowship (IIF)
International Outgoing Fellowships (IOF)

Research fields are chosen freely by the applicants. All domains of research and technological development addressed under the EC Treaty are eligible.

Through the EBMT AMGEN Clinical Fellowship Programme promising young physicians are offered the opportunity to work at higher educational institutions (HEI) outside their home country, to pursue research projects which will contribute to advances in clinical research and improve patient care.

With the financial support of AMGEN, the EBMT AMGEN Clinical Fellowship Programme will offer six clinical research fellowships in the period 2006 - 2008. The EBMT AMGEN Fellowships are aimed at promoting clinical and epidemiological research in the field of hemato-oncology.

One fellowship was awarded in 2006 and a further three were made in 2007, this means that there are two remaining EBMT AMGEN Fellowships to award.
